This spreader is easy to load and use, even on small PTO tractors. Conestoga's manure spreaders can help you get your work done with a tough, quality machine, even for the smaller tractors. Our spreaders are all designed and built for everyday use. These are ideal for maneuvering in barn aisles or when users want PTO convenience on the compact side.

The C-50 PTO Manure Spreader is the smallest model in our PTO (Power Take-Off) line and is ideally suited for farms with 5 to 11 horses. If you're looking for durable PTO manure spreaders for sale, the C-50 offers a reliable, compact solution. There is no "right" or "wrong" between PTO and Ground Drive; they both do an excellent job regardless of the material, but each has different features. The Ground Drive is nice behind a UTV so you can load with your tractor without having to unhitch, while our PTO driven manure spreaders are nice for constant power from the engine if you have an extra tractor available or don't mind re-hitching and taking a few other steps. PTO manure spreaders also allow users to sit in one spot and "dump" manure onto a pile, which can be helpful for cleaning out stalls onto a pile, turning a pile and shredding it down to compost, or dumping into a larger pile for a big farmer to collect.

Crafted from 12-gauge COR-TEN steel with floorboards made from recycled plastic (similar to composite deck materials), the C-50 is built to withstand years of daily farm use. Standard Features

12 Rooster Comb Paddles

12 Bolted Paddles with a large diameter are made of 3/16" quality steel for an excellent spreading pattern. The bolt-on style allows for easy replacement and is a feature not offered by many other spreader manufacturers.

An optional top beater bar is available for our PTO manure spreaders but it does not come standard.

Box Construction

The box of our ground driven manure spreader is built from long-lasting 12-gauge COR-TEN steel for extra corrosion resistance.

Polyvinyl Flooring

The floor of the ground drive manure spreader is built with Polyvinyl flooring with a lifetime guarantee. This flooring allows for better flow and an easy cleanup. They will not rust or rot.

Adjustable Web Flooring

Choose from four spreading speeds with an adjustable web speed lever. The easy-to-use lever allows you to adjust spreading thickness from a light dusting to a heavy coating.

Stainless Steel Apron Chain

The main apron chain is a common area for some ground driven manure spreaders to have problems. If an apron chain isn't stainless steel you can count on them failing within 7-10 years of purchase. Conestoga's Stainless Steel Apron Chains will literally never rust through. Our apron chains will keep your spreader running well and out of the repair shop.

Fine Spread Pan

Sits below the beater and catches manure tumbling out the back to force it out with the paddles. Also reduces messes traveling over cleaner pathways.
Ideal for: composted manure or when spreading in a controlled setting such as a lawn or clean kept meadow by spreading thinner, the manure breaks down faster into the grass. See the fine spread pan in action!

Hydraulic Gate

Interior gate to hold manure in the spreader while loading and transporting, flips upward to spread and blocks some manure from coming forward.
Ideal for: loading and transporting over clean areas. Ground Drive Spreaders have manual gates, PTO spreaders have hydraulic gates only as a safety feature.

Raptor Liner

A spray in rubberized liner, coating the steel box surface. Similar to any truck bed liner protecting against scratches and wear.
Ideal for: weather resistance if leaving outside, for wet manure, or when leaving manure in the spreader. Part of paint process means it should be done with the actual painting of the frame.

Optional Top Beater

A secondary beater that mounts above the main beater to work in sync. The top beater breaks up tough manure for a finer spread, such as pen pack cow manure etc. on a nice meadow.
Ideal for: tough manure or heaping the spreader full as it will catch the top and break it up in sync with the top beater. See the shredding action!

Dolly Wheel Jack

Replaces the standard flat jack. It allows the user to push it around on the wheel without lifting the front end. It still jacks up and down and flips up for spreading.
Ideal for: rolling around on blacktops, barn floors, and other surfaces. It's not ideal to park on hills.

While not an internet person, I did order this unit online directly from Conestoga. The experience was excellent.  From the time of my first inquiry until the unit was delivered, my questions were answered promptly.  Frequently I would get replies within a couple of hours and always the same day. I was also very impressed with the lead time on the spreader. I added a few accessories, so mine had to be made to order and it still shipped within a few weeks. I just put down 12 loads of horse manure and the spreader worked great. This came from a pile that had been sitting over the winter so was pretty wet and dense. A heaped the loads in the spreader and it took the weight perfectly. With the optional top spreader bar, it did a great job of breaking it up and putting down a nice even spread.  There is also a 3 speed chain adjustment that allowed me to put a heavier layer down in those areas that needed a little help and a finer layer in the thicker grass area.
